24 Mile Road Closed Between Foss and North Avenue

The stretch of 24 Mile Road between Foss and North Avenue will be closed until late December for a water and sewer project.

Starting Dec. 12, the portion of 24 Mile Road between Foss Road and North Avenue will be closed for a water and sewer project.

The road is expected to remain closed through Dec. 26.

The Detroit Water and Sewer Department is placing a 42-inch water main underneath the westbound lane of 24 Mile Road. Asphalt in this lane has been removed from Foss to North Avenue, according to the Macomb County Department of Roads.
