Hot Stuff: A "Cool" Guide to Beat the Heat

We've been covering the heat since it started to climb last week and now to help you keep cool, save energy and enjoy this "tropical" weather, we've put together all the stores we've written since.

  • Macomb County is enduring the worst combination of heat and humidity to hit southeast Michigan in more than 15 years, according to the National Weather Service. With temperatures hitting the mid-90s and the heat index in the triple digits, this week's heat wave this week is expected to be the longest duration of hot and humid conditions since July of 1995.
