It's Back: Snow Expected Today, Tonight

Accumulation is minimal for Macomb, with only 1-2 inches expected.

One of the warmest winters on record will take a slight break today when temperatures dip to a low around 14 degrees and a dusting of snow hits the ground.

A widespread area of snowfall will move through the area this afternoon and evening, dropping 1-2 inches of snow in Macomb Township, according to the National Weather Service.

The wind will pick up throughout the day, with gusts as high as 26 mph tonight, and wind chill values bottoming out below zero.
