While you may not be playing an active role in a wedding this summer, chances are you have at least one invitation sitting on your countertop or know someone planning the long walk down the aisle this summer.

First, make sure you are a registered user of Macomb Patch (if you aren't, click on "Sign Up" in the top right corner of the home page). Once you are logged in, scroll to the bottom of the home page and, under "Contribute" on the right side, click "Announce something to everyone." 

In the announcement template, fill out all the fields and make sure you choose "Engagements" or "Weddings" as the category, and before you know it the joy of your daughter, son, brother, friend, etc., is sure to become an instant Internet sensation.

Be sure to add photos of the couple to personalize your announcement and then email it to your friends and family.
