You know it's going to be a good day when 33 years ago the film adaptation of Grease premiered in New York City. Hey Johnny T., "You're the one that I want ..."

  1. The clouds that snuck in last night will hang around today and bring with them a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. However, the temperature will reach a high near 77 degrees and only drop to a low around 60 degrees, according to the National Weather Service.
  2. In recognition of Macomb Township's German roots, we bring you the German Word of the Day: (die) Nachspeise, meaning dessert, is a noun pronounced [nakh'speise].
  3. Following an arraignment in 41A District Court Wednesday, three men now face multiple felony charges for the alleged abduction and assault of four Dakota High School teens. For a complete update on the case, find the story here.
  4. There will be a from 4-8 p.m. today at to help Grace MacKenzie, a Clinton Township baby diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy. The cost is $20 for adults; $8 for kids 6-12; and free for 5 and under. The event includes dinner, entertainment, raffles and more.
