Poll: Are You Happy or Horrified at Macomb's First Snowfall?

With snow seen for the first time in Macomb Township today, it would seem Mother Nature is putting the kabash on fall.

Earlier this week folks were out mowing their lawns, raking their leaves and stringing Christmas lights. Today, we saw the first of what is sure to be many snowfalls this winter.

The first flakes hit the streets around 1:30 p.m. Thursday, with a second snow shower about an hour later.

Scattered snow showers are expected to continue throughout the day, and though it will be partly sunny, the temperature will hold at a cool 33 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. However, it looks like this will be the only snow shower this week.
