- Make sure those brights are working if you have to head out early, the National Weather Service is predicting areas of heavy fog before 8 a.m. After that it's partly sunny with a high near 84 degrees. The clouds roll in tonight with a low around 67 degrees.
- Making the dreams of little girls come true for 26 years, Justamere Equestrian Center is a Macomb Township institution. Owned and operated by Twila Slavic, the center offers riding lessons, hosts shows and boards horses.
- Macomb County Senior Citizen Services hosted a special seminar Thursday to provide local seniors with the information they would need to report and prosecute scams attempted against them. We have highlights you'll want to let your elderly friends and family know about.
- Air Margaritaville, a Jimmy Buffett cover band, helped Macomb Township Parks & Recreation finish their Sizzlin' Summer Nights on a groovy note Thursday at Town Center Park. Judging from these pictures, we'd say everyone had a good time.
- In recognition of Macomb Township's German roots, we bring you the German Word of the Day: wahrscheinlich, meaning probably, is an adverb pronounced [var-shine-likh].
