Today's news includes tonight's township board meeting, money-saving deals around town, a birthday part for the library, weather and more.

  • Enjoy today's high near 84 degrees, for temperatures start to creep into the 90s again starting Thursday. It will be mostly sunny in the morning with a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms in the evening. The low for today will come in around 70 degrees, according to the National Weather Service
  • The Macomb Township Board of Trustees meets tonight at 7 at the Town Hall, 45111 Broughton Road, just off 25 Mile Road. Township trustees have a set agenda of topics to discuss, but there are two public comment sessions at the start and end of the meeting where residents can address issues on tonight's agenda and community issues in general.

  • The Clinton-Macomb Public Library's North Branch turned 10 on July 9 and will host a party on Aug. 16 to celebrate the milestone with the community.
