  • If the National Weather Service is to be believed, we will probably see rain today. There is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 2 p.m., with mostly cloudy skies and a high near 79 degrees. The chance of showers drops to 10 percent before 8 p.m., with an evening low around 50 degrees. 
  • Chippewa Valley Schools will open to midyear school of choice this winter. The decision was made at last night's board of education meeting.
