  • There's a 20 percent chance of showers today, although it should be partly sunny through most of the day. We'll see a high near 67 degrees and a low around 48 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. The chance of showers continues into the evening, so it's not a bad idea to have an umbrella handy.
  • Chippewa Valley High School journalism teacher, John Spreitzer, passed away suddenly Tuesday.
  • The 69-year-old Macomb Township woman who was brutally stabbed during a home invasion in February died Tuesday. Joann Eisenhardt was stabbed twice in the neck by her attacker before the latter fled the scene. Suspect Joseph T. Reiner will now face a felony murder charge in addition to the felony home invasion charge he is currently fighting in court.
