LAST DAY: Where's Whalen? Touring the Town with Macomb Patch's Editor

Join me as I embark on a uniquely Macomb adventure. Five locations in five days. Let's make them count.

Next week, Macomb Patch, led by its fearless editor Jenny Whalen, will embark on the inaugural Patch Spring Tour.

What is the Patch Spring Tour you ask? Think Tour de France, but without the bike shorts, and for the most part, without the bike.

The Patch Spring Tour is a challenge to delve deeper into the community. For five days straight, I'll be visiting legendary locales and unknown nooks and crannies all throughout Macomb Township.

So in a Where's Waldo-esque fashion, I'll be posting video, photos and stories of my adventures throughout the week and I invite you to join me in person, as well as spirit, for what is sure to be one exciting ride.

  • May 18– So it hasn't been that long since I pulled out my hair over mathematical proofs (in my opinion the most useless form of math to date), but long enough to make revisiting the hallowed halls of high school worthwhile. I'll pull up a desk at , attempt to answer questions and take my life into my own hands during passing–all for the greater good.
  • May 19–Shield's Pizza Party. Macomb Patch is celebrating its five-month anniversary and you are all invited to take part in the festivities. Meet us at Shield's Pizza on Romeo Plank from 6-9 p.m. for food, drinks and fun.
