Winter Weather Advisory Still in Effect for Macomb County

It wouldn't be Michigan if there wasn't snow in the spring!

The calendar claims it's spring, but the National Weather Service begs to differ. The NWS has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for Macomb County that remains in effect until 1 p.m. today.

Temperatures are not expected to break the 40-degree mark, and quickly accumulating snow is leading to slippery roadways and hazardous driving conditions.

Up to 4 inches of snow are expected by the end of the day and freezing rain is a possibility tonight.
