Proceeds from the race are used to stock the CVHS food pantry, which is open to all community members in need, and assemble the Thanksgiving boxes that members of Chippewa's Key Club, with the help of a local church, deliver each year to around 50 families who have fallen on hard times.

Participants are also encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item for the school's food pantry. For every non-perishable item you bring to the event, you will be entered into a raffle to win prizes.

Where is the Route?

The 5K and 10K races start at Chippewa Valley's front entrance on 19 Mile Road, running south on Garfield, east on Canal, north on Romeo Plank Road and west on Greenfield, ending at the high school's entrance off Greenfield. The 10K is a double loop of this route.
