Local Charities Join Forces for heArt, Art Show and Fundraising Event

Two local charities, Compassion Through Cameras (CTC) and Far Conservatory of Therapeutic and Performing Arts (FAR) will jointly host heArt, a collaborative art show fundraising event on Friday, Sept. 13 at the Goldner Walsh Nursery in Pontiac.


HeArt will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The cost to attend is $50 person. The price includes light snacks, cocktails and free parking.


The artwork displayed during the show will be from FAR participants and CTC photography workshop students. The event will also include a silent auction featuring artwork by local artists. Proceeds from the event will support both organizations, which provide valuable service of education and creativity development to children and adults in need.
