Martha Munizzi concert benefits Salvation Army

On September 13, Martha Munizzi, a GRAMMY and Soul Train award nominee and Dove and Stellar award winner, will perform to benefit The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC).

The concert will take place 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 13 at the Grace Christian Church in Sterling Heights (33801 Van Dyke Avenue). Tickets are available for $20 at www.itickets.com, and at The Salvation Army ARC’s headquarters in Detroit at 1627 W. Fort Street, Detroit, Mich. 48216 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Mon-Fri. The ARC Singers will perform to open for Martha Munizzi.

In the last decade, acclaimed music minister Martha Munizzi has risen to the upper reaches of the Christian and gospel music spheres, becoming an in-demand worship leader, songwriter and speaker across the United States and beyond.

“We are honored to have Martha Munizzi, an exceptionally talented gospel musician, travel to Detroit for the benefit of our mission,” said Merle Miller, administrator of The Salvation Army Southeast Michigan Adult Rehabilitation Center. “Whether you’re a Christian music fan or not, Munizzi’s performance will be an evening of inspiration and a spiritual celebration. We encourage and welcome metro Detroiters to attend the concert.”

Proceeds from the concert will support The Salvation Army ARC’s adult rehabilitation programs, and benefit the ARC’s goals of installing a children’s playscape at the women’s Romulus facility, as well as adding additional life enhancing programs for the women’s rehabilitation program.
