Help put Metro Detroit to work by participating in Goodwill Industries of Great Detroit's "Stuff the Truck" event from Sept. 19 to Oct. 5th from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m.
Donate clean, gently used clothes and household items to Elder-Beerman in Howell and/or any of the Carson's locations, including Laurel Park in Livonia, The Village of Rochester Hills Mall in Rochester Hills and Partridge Creek Mall in Clinton Township. For every item donated, donors will receive a coupon for 15-25 percent off apparel, footwear and other items.
The highest quality items collected during "Stuff the Truck" will be sold at Goodwill's flagship upscale retail stores in Canton, Dearborn and Commerce Township. Proceeds from the stores support Goodwill's employment education, training and placement programs that help people throughout Southeast Michigan earn jobs by becoming "Trained, Trusted and Ready to Work."
