Community Corner

CARE of Southeastern Michigan's Open House

In November of 2011 CARE's lower level was flooded with 18 inches of raw sewage causing $200,000 worth of damage and losses. With insurance covering only 15% of costs, CARE began to reach out to the community for support in their restoration project. CARE's open house will be an opportunity for the community and supporters to come and tour the newly renovated lower level, enjoy refreshments and service information, participate in the Chamber Ribbon Cutting, as well as a Proclamation Presentation made by the Macomb County Board of Commissioners in honor of CARE's 35th anniversary. To learn about how you may support this project, or to RSVP please contact Meghan at mkindsvater@careofsem.com or 586.541.0033 ext. 214.
