Clinton Township Optimists Stage Comedy Night

The Clinton Township Area Optimists are holding a Comedy Night May 4 at Zucarro's of Clinton Township. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the comics take to the stage at 7:30 p.m.

Comedy Night features Michigan comic Stephen Bills, who is currently house MC for Comics on Duty world tour. Bills has performed at military bases worldwide and worked with Lewis Black, Gilbert Gottfried, Christopher Titus, Sherman Helmsley, Norm MacDonald, Pauly Shore and more. David Luther Glover is the opening act. The show is appropriate for adult audiences.

Desserts donated by area restaurants will be served throughout the evening.

Tickets are $25 and can be purchased by contacting Optimist Stephen Saph at stephenjr@nickelsaph.com or 586-463-4573 or stop by his office, Nickel & Saph, Inc., at 44 Macomb Place in downtown Mount Clemens, M-F, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Proceeds from Comedy Night will go to support Optimist-sponsored projects for local area children.
