Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of Macomb County

The American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer – the organizations national crusade to raise awareness and funds to fight breast cancer is taking place in downtown Mt. Clemens on October 1st at 8:00 am.

The American Cancer Society invites the community to take a step in the right direction, toward finding a cure for breast cancer and celebrating a world with more birthdays. Come show your support for the cause, honor a friend or family member who battled cancer and help make a difference.

The walk is noncompetitive and fun for the whole family. There is no entry fee however donations are encouraged and appreciated. All proceeds from the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer or Macomb County walk will benefit breast cancer research as well as local breast cancer education and patient programs and services.

Every three minutes a woman is diagnosed with breast cancer. This year, nearly 1,400 women in Michigan will die from this deadly disease; who is she, she is a wife, a mother, a sister, a daughter, a friend. Help challenge these statistics with the American Cancer Society on October 1st at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk. You can make a difference.
