21-Day Decluttering Challange! Day 5!

Spring Cleaning and Decluttering!! Oh so much fun. Had a bit of a break due to life and sick kids, but we are back and going strong!!

21-Day Challenge!!

Okay so this is the Day 5 challenge. We haven't done exactly 21 days in a row, but life happens. Kids get sick, mom's get sick, friends go on vacation ... you know life!

So we are back with our de-cluttering goal. I chose to do my laundry room while my de-cluttering buddy was on vacation. So enjoy and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask away and if you are so inspired to join us, please post your pictures, would love to see them!!

All photos are in order of my notes below :)

The dreaded laundry room before pictures ... Okay hanging head low, oh so very very low ... I am a pile(r), I need to learn to put things away. I know, I know. What must my kids' rooms look like, well I'm not sure what day that will be, but keep your eyes out :)

And then the after photos, a clean and organized laundry room!! Hubby was very happy when he got home!! Clean sink :) You know we all have a place to put socks that lose their partners. Kind of like the island of lost toys, but for socks :) And then for anything that comes out of pockets that you don't know what to do with ... that's the golf ball jar :)

Cleaning supplies go in a tote very easy tote-ability (my new word), kitty treats and food and extra cleaning supplies. Samantha has the basket on top for her shoes and Bradley the basket on the bottom. Helps to keep them and me organized!

Hooks for backpacks and umbrellas. Keys go here, any little notes and my headphones since I never seem to be able to find them!! And kids sunglasses.

Mom and dad's coats and umbrellas go here. Up top on the shelf are baskets with hats, one for winter, one for baseball caps. In the rolling tote, there are three drawers, each are labeled for Mom and Dad and then one for Bradley and Samantha. This is where gloves go and anything winter.

So there you go ... From one hot mess to organized bliss. Never thought the laundry room could make me smile this big!!

So have you started your spring cleaning? De-cluttering?? We want to hear about it. Check out my friends blog ... Getting Into Truffle.
