Dudley Digs: Pet Friendly Halloween Events and Costumes

Looking for a pet costume this year? Dudley shares his story as he attends a pet charity Halloween event.

Hello again pet parents!

This weekend, I attended one of my favorite events, the annual Pug-o-ween. This event brings pugs and their parents together for a fun-filled day of pet costume contests, races, parades, and just spending time playing with other puggies in the park. Pug-o-ween is put on each year from the Michigan Pug Rescue Network. Proceeds support the well being of the pugs in the rescue.

As you will see from the photos, it is a blast! I was dressed as a sheriff this year. Although I am not the biggest fan of dressing up, I did think I was "THE man" in this. Other costumes included monkeys, hot dogs, skeletons, piggies, and much more.

My awesome pet costume was purchased from , where you can find a great selection of pet costumes (note: they are located in the back corner, near the Halloween candy). Halloween City, near Lakeside Mall, also carries pet costumes, but their selection is limited.

Do you dress your pet up for halloween?  If so, what will he or she be this year? Do you have any pet-friendly events you are attending for Halloween this year?
