L'Anse Creuse Board Treasurer DiPascale Resigns

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Board Treasurer Jeffrey A. DiPascale has submitted his letter of resignation from the L’Anse Creuse Public Schools Board of Education, effective end of day April 30.

DiPascale has served on the Board since 2009, during that time he has served on multiple committees including Finance, Planning and Policy, Parent Advisory, and Contracts.

DiPascale informed the Board President earlier this year that a recent career change was creating challenges for him. After much effort and careful consideration, DiPascale found it in the best interest of our students, staff and community to step down from his position feeling that he was unable to provide the level of attention he believes the district deserves.

"For the last four years, it has been a privilege to serve the students, the staff, and the community as an elected member of the L’Anse Creuse Board of Education," said DiPascale. "This position has given me the opportunity to help improve the quality of service to our students, while maintaining a safe and enjoyable working environment for our staff. I wish the district the best of luck in the future and they will forever remain in my thoughts."

"Jeff has been a tremendous asset to this district and we will miss his counsel and support," said Superintendent Jackie Johnston. "We wish him good luck in his future endeavors."
