L’Anse Creuse students received National Gold medals from the 2013 National Scholastic Art Competition

L’Anse Creuse High School junior, Cody Schulz, and L’Anse Creuse High School – North senior, Alvina Yousif, received National Gold medals from the 2013 National Scholastic Art Competition.

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Mich. and MACOMB, Mich. – L’Anse Creuse High School junior, Cody Schulz, and L’Anse Creuse High School – North senior, Alvina Yousif, have received National Gold medals from the 2013 National Scholastic Art and Writing Competition. On May 31 the students and other winners will be honored during a special ceremony at the world famous Carnegie Hall, the ceremony will be webcasted live at www.artandwriting.org/carnegiewebcast2013. In addition the students’ art will be on display at Parsons The New School for Design and the Pratt Manhattan Gallery from May 31 through June 15.
