Pankow students create videos for Lake St. Clair Metropark.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. ─ Frederick V. Pankow Center TV and Broadcast Media class students recently partnered with Huron-Clinton Metroparks on a video project to highlight one of five selected picnic shelters at Lake St. Clair Metropark. The objective was to provide them with professional experience and exercise their video editing skills. Each student had two weeks to complete their video and were given numerous resources to help them. The Lake St. Clair Metroparks staff reviewed each video; judging creativity, soundtrack, narration, transition, imagery, and use of introduction or title. The best videos will be aired in the park office and posted on YouTube, and the park’s website. Lake St. Clair Metropark plans on doing other projects in the future with the TV and Broadcast Media students. Frederick V. Pankow Center is located at 24600 F.V. Pankow Blvd. Please contact teacher Michael Kaufman at kaufmmi@lc-ps.org or Park Operations Manager Thomas Knuth at Thomas.knuth@metroparks.com.
