Honored guests include Lieutenant Colonel Lawrence Milben of the Tuskegee Airmen, and Lieutenant Colonel Mac Crawford and Lieutenant Colonel Chad Rauls of the United Sates Air Force. The assembly will feature a “Presentation of Colors” by the Selfridge Honor Guard, a Flag Folding Ceremony, a Coining Ceremony, and patriotic performances by the LCMS–E band, current student leaders, and alumni.

“It is very important the veterans are recognized for allowing us the privileges and freedoms that we have today. We are very proud to honor these living legends among us,” said Science Teacher, Dr. Heidi M. von Oetinger-Reed.
