Timmerman Selected as New Haven High School Principal
NEW HAVEN, MI – New Haven has selected one of its own to lead the high school. Will Timmerman, a teacher at New Haven High School, has been named the new principal. “I’m very excited about becoming principal. My goal is for New Haven High School to become the top achieving high school in the county’” said Timmerman.
Prior to his being named principal, Timmerman was a mathematics and art teacher in New Haven and was just recently selected as a data analyst for the district. He was named “Teacher of the Year” for the 2010-11 school year and has done everything from coordinate the Robotics Team to run the Green Club. “Will is well respected by students, parents and his colleagues. He can hit the ground running because he knows exactly what needs to be done,” said Keith Wunderlich, New Haven Community Schools superintendent. Timmerman was selected from a field of over 40 candidates for the position.
