Principal Bob Christian has asked the community to keep the Lederer family and Immanuel Lutheran students and staff in their prayers.

"As a community we are extremely sad and will miss Mrs. Lederer very much," Christian said. "She was truly a woman of faith and boldly expressed that faith to all she encountered - especially (to) her second graders throughout the years. We rejoice, also, that she is now in the presence of her savior and using her gift of music as she worships Jesus for eternity."
