There are a lot of things I am thankful for this year.
I'm thankful the Twilight saga is finally over. I'm thankful that leading doctors still consider dark chocolate and red wine good for you. I'm thankful the engine light in my car was a false alarm and that I have the YouTube video of a sneezing baby panda to pick me up when I'm feeling down.
But most of all, I am thankful for the health and happiness of my family – that I live in a country that respects my rights and freedoms. I am thankful that as I write these words I do so with a roof over my head and a promising future ahead of me.
