In the first incident, an armed man with a red bandanna over his face demanded the clerk hand over money and took her cell phone as well as a delivery person's wallet and car keys. The vehicle was found later in an adjourning subdivision, the Macomb County Sheriff's Office said.

Police then responded to a carjacking at around 11 p.m. Feb. 9 outside Little Caesars. During that time, a man wearing a red bandanna over part of his face and brandishing a black handgun demanded money and forced two teens, ages 16 and 19, out of a 2001 Oldsmobile Alero just outside the pizzeria. He tried to order them back into the business, but the doors were locked. He then fled in their car, the Sheriff's Office stated.

Officers subsequently stopped the victims' vehicle in Mount Clemens. A stolen handgun was also in Crossley's possession at the time, the Sheriff's Office said.
