Macomb Township Man Charged in Armed Robbery of Auburn Hills' Little Caesars

The 23-year-old man is the second Macomb Township resident to have been accused of robbing a pizza place at gunpoint this month.

A 23-year-old Macomb Township man has been charged with two counts of armed robbery after police arrested him as a suspect in the robbery of an Auburn Hills Little Caesars Thursday, according to WDIV

Police were able to identify Frank Lovett based on tips received following the release of a computer generated composite drawing.

Lovett was arraigned in 52-3 District Court in Rochester Hills. A judge set his bond at $50,000 cash, WDIV reports.

Lovett reportedly used a semi-automatic handgun during the robbery.

This is the second Macomb Township man to have been arrested for armed robbery of a pizza store in recent days.

Joseph Crossley, 21, is accused of holding up a Domino's Pizza at gunpoint on Feb. 4 on 21 Mile and carjacking teenagers less than a week later outside a Little Caesars Pizza on the same Macomb Township street.

Crossley faces counts of armed robbery, assault with intent to rob while armed, carjacking, receiving and concealing felony firearms and other weapons charges, according to 41A District Court officials.
