Man Scrawls Expletive in Blood on Ex-Girlfriend's Car in Macomb Township

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of malicious destruction of property after he damaged his ex-girlfriend's car and scrawled an expletive with his blood on the vehicle's window, according to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. Aug. 1, Mikey Ljulgjuraj showed up at a home at the 46000 block of Oak Pointe Drive, looking for the mother of his three-month-old child. But she was not at the home, where she had dropped off her 2006 Toyota for repairs, at the time, police said.

Ljulgjuraj then allegedly kicked or punched the rear quarter panels of her car, gouged the car with a screwdriver, and cut himself as he was breaking a taillight. With blood from his injured hand, he wrote an expletive on the driver’s-side window, police said.

After leaving the scene, he was found, with help from Roseville police, at his home in that city. He was arraigned on a charge of malicious destruction of property between $1,000-2,000 in 41A District Court-Shelby Township.  He was granted a $5,000 cash/surety bond before his release. A preliminary exam is scheduled for Monday, police said.
