Police Blotter: Arrest for Drunken Driving at 21 Mile and Romeo Plank

The following arrest information was supplied by the Macomb County Sheriff's Office. It does not indicate a conviction.

A Macomb County Sheriff's deputy arrested a Clinton Township man in the area of 21 Mile and Romeo Plank roads on Aug. 1 around 8:52 p.m. for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

According to police, the man was observed driving left of center as he approached the intersection at 21 Mile and Romeo Plank, resulting in an improper lane use violation.

The deputy administered a preliminary breath test and registered the man at 0.147 percent blood alcohol content, according to a report.

The man was arrested for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol first offense and taken to the Macomb County Jail. He was lodged in the jail and issued a $100 cash/surety bond.
