Police Blotter: Buick Stolen From Home's Driveway; Marijuana Arrest in Ebeling Elementary Lot

Gold-colored Buick stolen from Pamela Drive

On July 8, at approximately 4:58 a.m., a homeowner in the 47000 block of Pamela Drive, reported his 2000 Buick had been stolen.

The homeowner told police his son saw the vehicle being driven out of the driveway, according to the police report. He was also unable to locate the vehicle’s third set of keys.

The vehicle is gold colored with the license plate BNT2240.

Anyone with information regarding the vehicle, or possible suspects, should call sheriff's dispatch at 586-469-5151.

On July 11, at approximately 12:35 a.m., a Macomb County sheriff’s deputy patrolling the 15900 block of Haverhill Drive saw two vehicles in the parking lot.

Upon approaching one of the vehicles, the deputy smelled the odor of marijuana and reports the 18-year-old Macomb Township man also smelt of alcohol, according to the police report.

A search of the man’s car revealed a plastic baggie filled with marijuana, according to police.

The man was arrested for possession of marijuana and taken to the Macomb County Jail where he was lodged on a $100 bond.

The driver of the second vehicle was not arrested.
