Police Blotter: Card Road Kroger Employee Robbed of Receipts at Gunpoint

Kroger employee robbed at gunpoint

On July 18, at approximately 11 p.m., an unknown individual robbed an employee of the at 21 Mile Road and Card at gunpoint, according to the sheriff's office.

The suspect, described as a black male in his early 20s and wearing a hoodie, approached the employee in the store’s parking lot. Pulling a handgun from his waist area, the suspect pointed it at the employee and said, “Give me everything,” according to the sheriff's office.

The employee handed over a blue bank bag filled with receipts and the suspect fled the scene.

Macomb County Sheriff’s K9 units searched the scene, but neither the suspect nor the bank bag was found.

Tires stolen off Budget rental car

On July 21, at approximately 9:23 a.m., employees at the on Hall Road reported the tires had been stolen off one of the rental vehicles.

The four tires were removed from the vehicle while it was still in the Budget lot, according to the sheriff’s office.

There are no suspects at this time.
