Police Blotter: Clawson Man Arrested for Disorderly Conduct in Macomb Sub

The following arrest information was supplied by the Macomb County Sheriff's Office. It does not indicate a conviction.

On Sept. 21 at approximately 2:50 a.m., deputies responded to a report of a suspicious male knocking on the door of a home in the 15000 block of E. Williamsburg Drive in Macomb Township.

On first arriving at the scene, deputies were unable to locate the man. The 22-year-old Clawson resident was later found lying on the floor in the backseat of his vehicle in an attempt to hide from officers, according to the police report. The man finally exited the vehicle after repeated orders from officers.

Deputies reported he smelled of intoxicants and had slurred speech. A preliminary breath test revealed the man's blood alcohol content to be .13.

The man told officers he was in the neighborhood attempting to buy furniture he found listed on Craigslist.

Upon searching the man's vehicle, officers found a glass pipe used to smoke marijuana.

The man was arrested for disorderly conduct and possession of narcotic paraphenalia. He was transported to the Macomb County Jail and his bond set at $200.
