Police Blotter: Macomb Township Man Leads Police on Foot Chase

The following information was supplied by the Macomb County Sheriff's Office. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

On Nov. 2, at approximately 7:22 p.m., deputies responded to a home in the 50800 block of Shenandoah Drive in Macomb Township for a report of domestic violence.

The 54-year-old Macomb Township man who made the report told police his sister-in-law and her boyfriend were engaged in a verbal argument which he believed could escalate to a physical dispute.

The 45-year-old Macomb Township woman involved confirmed the verbal argument and told police arguments between herself and her boyfriend had become physical in the past.

When deputies attempted to talk to the boyfriend, a 45-year-old Macomb Township man, the man ran out of the house and into the neighborhood.

Deputies caught and arrested the man, who was found to have two previous arrest warrants. A small amount of marijuana and a piece of drug paraphernalia were also found in the man's belongings.

The man was arrested for resisting an officer and possession of marijuana. He was transported to the Macomb County Jail.

I was wondering about some Laws? Blocking cross walk at Traffic light. Tail gating. Speeding. Non stops at lights and or Stop signs. Driving on shoulder at south bound Grosbeck and Harrington, else where also? Driving distance in left turn lane.
