The following information was supplied by the Macomb County Sheriff's Office. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

On March 5, at approximately 6:19 p.m., Macomb County Sheriff's deputies responded to a business in the area of 46000 Erb Drive in Macomb Township to check the report of a fight between two individuals allegedly involving a gun.

The man who made the report, a 53-year-old Rochester Hills resident, told police his employer threatened him with a 9mm handgun after he informed him he was quitting. The Rochester man told police the pair fought and the employer pointed a gun at his face and ordered him off the property when he attempted to retrieve his belongings, according to the police report.

The employer, a 37-year-old Harrison Township man, initially denied having a gun on the property, but later admitted to police he hid the gun when his employee threatened to tell police he had pointed the gun at him, according to the police report. The suspect told police he did not threaten his employee with the gun.
