Police: Macomb Man Sneaks Pizza Rolls in Pants

Utica Police arrested a 19-year-old Macomb Man on Tuesday for hiding pizza rolls from a BP gas station in his pants.

A 19-year-old Macomb man was arrested Tuesday at a gas station for hiding pizza rolls in his pants.

Utica Police were called to the BP on Hall Road about a larceny in progress. The clerk told police he witnessed the man, who was with a group of friends, slip the box into his pants.

When police arrived and confronted the suspected thief about the larceny, they found the box valued at $2.49 and several sticks of beef jerky on him.

Police said the total value of stolen items was $5.37. Officers said they smelled intoxicants on the man's breath and gave him a breathalyzer; he blew .025. He was arrested on larceny charges and a $100 cash bond was set.
