Sheriff's Deputies Make Marijuana Arrests

The Macomb County Sheriff's Office recently arrested two individuals on possession of marijuana charges.

Deputies stopped a 17 year-old Macomb Township man on March 24 for having an expired registration tab on his license plate. According to a report, the deputy smelled marijuana and the driver admitted that there was marijuana in the console of the vehicle. The man was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana.   

On March 25, deputies arrested a 20-year-old man in Macomb Township after he was stopped for speeding. A deputy smelled marijuana, and after a search, found three baggies of marijuana, according to a report. The driver was arrested for possession of marijuana.
