UPDATE: Suspect in Mount Clemens Bank Robbery Captured

Roseville resident Joshua Lee Lindsey was captured by the Macomb County Sheriff's Enforcement Team and U.S. Marshall's on Wednesday.

The Macomb County Sheriff's Enforcement Team, with the assistance of the U.S. Marshall's, captured Joshua Lee Lindsey Wednesday in connection with the robbery of a Mount Clemens Huntington Bank.

The Macomb County Prosecutor’s Office issued a warrant for bank robbery–life felony. Lindsey, 21, was arraigned in the 41-B District Court by Judge Sebastian Lucido with bond set at $250,000 cash/surety.

The robbery occurred at approximately 11:05 a.m. Tuesday at the Huntington Bank located at 1310 South Gratiot in Mount Clemens.

Lindsey entered the bank and confronted the teller, producing a note implying he had a weapon and demanding money from the victim, according to the sheriff's office. It is not known how much money was given at this time.

Upon receiving the money, Lindsey fled the scene, according to the sheriff's office.

The victim was not injured in the robbery.

The sheriff's office also believes the man to be a suspect in the robbery of a Chase bank in Clinton Township on Monday.

Sheriff Anthony Wickersham said his deputies are continuing the investigation.
