Snapshots of Hurricane Sandy Aftermath During MSP Deployment

Michigan State Police deployed 24 law enforcement officers to New Jersey in order to provide law enforcement support and security in the wake of Hurricane Sandy.

The Michigan State Police (MSP) recently sent 24 uniform personnel to New Jersey on a seven-day deployment to help provide law enforcement in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy.

MSP Jackson Post Commander Lt. Mike Krumm led the deployment with three sergeants and 20 Troopers from posts in Northern, Southwestern and mid-Michigan areas.

Schools in the Chippewa Valley and L'Anse Creuse districts have also rallied their students to send aid to the hardest hit areas of the East Coast.
