St. Patrick's Day Drunk Driving Arrest Statistics Released

Macomb Sheriff Anthony Wickersham released drinking and driving statistics from the St. Patrick's Day holiday.

According to a release, there were seven people arrested for drinking and drivign related offenses over a 24-hour period during the St. Patrick’s Day holiday. 

“We will continue our efforts to reduce the number of alcohol related crashes on Macomb County Roads” says Sheriff Wickersham in a release.

The arrests include:

Clinton Township

A 24-year-old Clinton Township man was arrested for operating while intoxicated, first offense, at 2:01 a.m. March 18.

Macomb Township

A 28-year-old man from Macomb Township was arrested at 12:30 a.m. March 18 for operating while intoxicated, first offense.  

Shelby Township

A 37-year-old man from Shelby Township was arrested at 1:47 a.m. March 18 for operating while intoxicated first offense.
