State Reps. Anthony Forlini and Marilyn Lane will join Lt. Gov. Brian Calley today at the Macomb Intermediate School District for a town hall meeting to discuss the New International Trade Crossing proposal, which includes the new bridge to Canada.

Forlini, R-Harrison Township, and Lane, D-Clinton Township, will host Calley from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the MISD, where he will "present information on anticipated international trade, the proposed bridge public-private partnership and funding sources," according to Forlini's website.

"We're bringing the bridge discussion to the people," Forlini wrote on his website. "Town hall meetings like this ensure decision makers maintain an open ear to the people's voice. This is an excellent opportunity for our community to learn about the current bridge proposal. We expect to learn from their feedback in order to proceed in their interest."
