Janet Dunn Withdraws from Trustee Race to Run for Township Supervisor

Current Macomb Township Trustee Janet Dunn has filed to run for township supervisor, rather than pursue re-election to her current post.

It will be a three-person race for Macomb Township supervisor now that Janet Dunn has pulled her bid for re-election as a trustee in favor of running for the township's top spot.

Dunn, who filed as a candidate for trustee and supervisor this month, withdrew her bid for her incumbent post on May 18. She will now run against fellow Republicans Charles T. Missig and incumbent Supervisor Mark Grabow in the August primary election.

A township employee for 28 years, Dunn has served as a trustee since 1995.
