Job Board: Water & Sewer Department Hires Utility Workers

The is looking to hire two utility workers.

The position is paid hourly, at a rate of 18.72, and is union (MAPE, MTPEA).

Position Description:

This position reports to the superintendent of the Water & Sewer or his designee, this position is responsible for meter reading, installations and repairs for residential and commerical customers throughout the township, including maintenance of the water distribution, sanitary sewer collection and storm water systems, and all of its appurtenances.

Education:

Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent, associates degree preferred. At least two to five years of full-time experience in maintenance and repair of water and sewer systems or the equivalent required.

Certificates:

Must possess a valid Michigan Driver's License in good standing. CDL License with a “B” endorsement within 6 months of being awarded the position. S-4 certification within 24 months of being awarded the position.
