League of Women Voters to Host L'Anse Creuse School Board Candidate Forum

The League of Women Voters will host a forum Tuesday, Oct. 2, at 7 p.m. at the Harry L. Wheeler Community Center for L'Anse Creuse school board candidates.

The League of Women Voters will host an open forum Tuesday for the L'Anse Creuse Public Schools board of education candidates.

The forum will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 2, at the newly opened Harry L. Wheeler Community Center and Administrative Offices in Clinton Township. The offices are located at 24076 F. V. Pankow Blvd, off Gratiot, and the forum will be held in the boardroom.

All candidates running for the L'Anse Creuse school board were invited to attend.

Candidates are Charles W. Eslinger, Earl Fuller Jr., Mary L. Hilton, Sharon L. McTavish Ross and Linda J. McLatcher.

Eslinger and McLatcher currently serve on the board.

The public is invited to attend the forum to learn more about the candidates and the issues currently facing L'Anse Creuse Public Schools.

To help the district establish a headcount for the event, community members are asked to RSVP by sending an email to rospau@lc-ps.org or calling 586-783-6300 ext 1214. However, no RSVP is necessary to attend.
