What's Happening at the Township Meeting Tonight?

The board is expected to make a decision on a 2012-15 contract for the township's garbage collection services. The township currently contracts with Waste Management.

The Macomb Township Board of Trustees meets tonight at 7 in the , located south of 25 Mile Road.

Residents will have two opportunities during the meeting to share their opinion on items listed on the agenda as well as other issues of concern in their community.

Agenda Overview:

  • Trustees will review a single-hauler waste contract to cover the township 2012-15. , which has offered a new three-year contract that promises savings to all township residents. 
  • The board is expected to award a contract for work on the property of the Water & Sewer Building. The department is seeking to replace the main driveway and connect the Water & Sewer building as well as the wash bay to the sanitary sewer system. The second improvement must be made in order to bring the township's facilities up to current storm water regulations. 
  • Supervisor Mark Grabow will review the services of MedStar Ambulance. The township contracts with MedStar for its medical emergency services.
