District Ready to Start Interviewing for New Dakota Principal

Dakota High School Principal Tom Heethuis plans to retire at the end of this school year.

The search is on for a new man, or woman, to lead the Cougars into 2012-13.

Current Principal Tom Heethuis is set to retire at the end of this school year and Chippewa Valley Schools will start the interview process for his replacement Feb. 16.

The resume screening portion of the search has been completed, leaving prospective candidates with two rounds of interviews to go. The first round, held with community members, Dakota staff, Chippewa administration and members of the school board, will take place Feb. 16.
