A Look Back at Battling Polio's Threat

On March 31 at 7 p.m. learn more about Polio: A Look Back at America's Most Successful Public Health Crusade. Pulitzer Prize-winning historian David M. Oshinsky, Ph.D., showcases one of the most significant public health successes in the nation's history, including the frantic race for a vaccine, the ethical dilemmas in human testing and the way the campaign against polio revolutionized both philanthropy and medical research in the United States.

Tickets are $15, $5 for seniors, students and military. The presentation and Meet & Greet with Oshinsky is $20 (5:30-6:30 p.m.).
