Author Ellen F. Steinberg, Ph.D., will be at the Lorenzo Cultural Center to speak on "Sharing the Taste of Midwestern Food: A Historical Analysis."

Steinberg specializes in culinary history and anthropology, and in this lecture she'll discuss traditional dishes and menus prepared by native-born and immigrant women in the Midwest between 1880-1920.

This presentation is part of a series of programs, Michigan’s Harvest: Food, Farming and Community, now going on through Nov. 20.
